Workshop Held in Sarajevo as Part of the DELEF Project

From February 10 to 13, 2025, a professional workshop was held in Sarajevo within the planned activities of the Swedish donor project DELEF (Digital Enhancement of Land Management for the EU Future of Bosnia and Herzegovina). The workshop was organized within Component 2 “Establishment of a Mass Property Valuation System.”

The workshop was led by a Slovenian expert in property valuation, Mr. Dušan Mitrović. The main topic was data collection for the establishment of the Property Register, and participants had the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the methodologies and techniques necessary for setting up a comprehensive Property Register.

During the workshop, all phases required for mass property valuation in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina were defined. This valuation represents a key step towards improving transparency and efficiency in property management and will be implemented within the GIVE project (Geospatial Infrastructure and Valuation Enhancement Project).

Through interactive sessions, workshop participants exchanged experiences and best practices, engaged in various educational activities, and emphasized the importance of continuous professional development in this field.

The implementation of this project is expected to bring significant benefits to both public institutions and the private sector. Projects like DELEF and GIVE represent an important step forward in infrastructure development and the improvement of property management in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
