VISIT TO THE FACULTY OF CIVIL ENGINEERING, ARCHITECTURE AND GEODESY UNIVERSITY OF MOSTAR AND HANDOVER OF GEODETIC EQUIPMENT

In the premises of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy University of Mostar was took place the handover and signing of the Agreement on the use of the geodetic equipment between the Federal Geodetic Administration, represented by director Željko Obradović, and the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy University of Mostar, represented by the dean Maja Prskalo, PhD.

Geodetic equipment was provided by the Federal Geodetic Administration, and GNSS antennas by Vekom d.o.o. Beograd.

The assigned equipment consists of:

- GNSS receiver Leica GRX1200+GNSS S/N: 496405

-   GNSS receiver Leica GRX1200+GNSS S/N: 496404

- Set Leica GS07 Smart Antenna SN: 1864948, Leica CS20 controller S/N: 4595067 and    stick GLS30 2 m.

The geodetic equipment will be used for the purpose of conducting the teaching-educational process, scientific research, etc. Since the undergraduate university study program of Geodesy and Geoinformatics was started at the Faculty in 2019, this valuable equipment will lead to the improvement of exercises and practical work with students, and participation in the creation of scientific research projects and writing articles by teaching staff.

The Federal Geodetic Administration has been the teaching base of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy University of Mostar for several years, so for the last two years they have organized professional visits to this institution for 3^rd year students. On this occasion, the Faculty thanked for the support it receives from the Federal Administration, which has been involved since the very beginning of the studies.
