The Steering Committee meeting and Annual meeting of the DELEF project (Digital Enhancement of Land Management for the European Future of Bosnia and Herzegovina) with SIDA (Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency) was held on February 18, 2026 in premises of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs in Sarajevo. The meeting was organized with an aim of reviewing the results so far, adopting the Report for 2025 and planning future activities within the DELEF project.
The meeting was attended by representatives of key institutions involved in DELEF project implementation:
• Republic Authority for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of Republika Srpska
• Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs
• Swedish mapping, cadastral and land registration authority– Lantmäteriet
• Embassy of Kingdom of Sweden in Bosnia and Herzegovina and representatives of SIDA
During the meeting, key elements of the project's implementation in the past year were considered, including progress of the digitalization of records, improvement of spatial data infrastructure, capacity building, and activities aimed at improving services to the users. The most efficient way to continue project implementation was also discussed, in light of the announced reduction in donor funding from the Government of the Kingdom of Sweden.
The DELEF project represents the continuation of successful cooperation between the geodetic administrations in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Swedish Lantmäteriet, with an aim of creating an efficient, transparent and user-oriented land administration. This project provides technical and institutional support in processes of the digital transformation of land administration in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs was represented by director Željko Obradović and assistant director Denis Tabučić, who participated in discussions and future plans within the project components.
