The establishment of the real estate cadastre and the utility cadastre in the area of the Una-Sana Canton

A meeting of representatives of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs, the Ministry of Construction, Spatial Planning and Environmental Protection of the Una-Sana Canton (USC) and the municipalities of Bihać, Bužim, Bosanski Petrovac, Ključ and Sanski Most was held in Bihać on October 29, 2024. The meeting was attended by Director of the Federal Administration, Mr. Željko Obradović, assistant director Mr. Sead Hadžić, minister Mr. Almir Imširović, and the mayors Mr. Mersudin Nanić (municipality of Bužim), Mr. Mahmut Jukić (Bosanski Petrovac municipality), Mr. Nedžad Zukanović (Ključ municipality), City mayor Mr. Elvedin Sedić (city of Bihać) and Mr. Nidal Talić (head of the cadastre department at the municipality of Sanski Most).

This meeting was organized within the implementation of projects for the establishment of the real estate cadastre and the utility cadastre in the area of ​​the Una-Sana Canton. The projects include preparatory procedures for public exhibition process, creation of divisional plans, updating of survey and classification databases, and creation of a database of utility cadastre, depending on the needs of local self-governments. At the meeting, agreements were signed on the joint financing of projects for the establishment of the real estate cadastre (Bihać, Bosanski Petrovac, Ključ and Sanski Most) and utility cadastre (Bužim).

The main goal of these projects is to improve records on real estate and communal infrastructure, which will enable more transparent property management, easier development planning and more efficient provision of services to citizens. The signatories of the agreement expressed satisfaction with the cooperation, emphasizing the importance of digitization and modernization of geodetic data for the economic and infrastructural progress of the canton.
