Representatives of the Federal Geodetic Administration at the 52nd Surveyor's Day in Maribor

The representatives of the Federal Geodetic Administration attended the 52^nd Surveyor's Day of Slovenia, held from October 8 to 9, 2024 in Maribor. This event brought together experts from the field of geodesy and related disciplines, and represented an ideal opportunity for the exchange of knowledge and experience on a regional and international level.

The Conference program included a series of expert lectures, workshops and panel discussions, which focused on the latest trends and technologies in geodesy. Key topics included:

• Digital transformation in geodesy

• Application of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools in spatial planning

• Geodetic standards and their role in modern society

• Impact of climate change on geodesy

• Use of drones in geodetic measurements

This Conference provided a unique opportunity to exchange experiences among colleagues from the region, which will contribute to strengthening joint efforts in the field of modernization and the application of new technologies.

The presence of representatives from the region emphasized the importance of continuous cooperation and harmonization of geodetic practice with global trends, with a special focus on rapid technological changes that shape the future of geodesy.
