JOINT MEETING OF THE STATE GEODETIC ADMINISTRATION OF REPUBLIC OF CROATIA AND FEDERAL GEODETIC ADMINISTRATION

Director of the State Geodetic Administration of the Republic of Croatia, Mr. Antonio Šustić and his associates visited the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs on June 20, 2023 where a meeting was held with director Željko Obradović and his associates.

At the joint meeting of two administrations, the current priority projects and activities of the land administration sector and those that are being prepared for implementation were presented. The representatives of the Federal Geodetic Administration particularly emphasized the Real Estate Registration Project and harmonization between cadastral and land registry data, the public exhibition of data regarding survey and cadastral classification of land, as well as projects of utility cadastre, address register, digital archive and the real estate valuation project which in preparation for realization. The representatives of the State Geodetic Administration of Republic of Croatia presented their experiences regarding of establishing a new survey, as well as the services they provide to the users.

The cooperation between two administrations so far is at an exceptional level, especially due to the fact that the Republic of Croatia is a European Union member and has access to the funds for the implementation of the projects from the land administration sector. The modalities of further cooperation, especially in the area of Spatial Data Infrastructure, digital business and possible joint projects financed from the European Union accession funds through twinning arrangements, were specially analysed and considered at this meeting.
