Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real-Property Affairs have procured surveying equipment intended for the municipal departments responsible for maintenance of the survey and the real estate cadaster as part of implementation of the Real Estate Registration Project, which is funded by the World Bank loan and through co-financing, in cooperation with the local communities and other administrative bodies. The handover of the equipment, took place on 23rd of February 2016 in the premises of Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of FBiH.
In his welcome address, Mr. Željko Obradović, Director of Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of FBiH, briefed all present representatives of the municipal departments on the activities and the projects that Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of FBiH is currently implementing. The participants expressed the most interest in the new World Bank project that is implemented by the Administration (the Real Estate Registration Project). There was also a brief and constructive discussion on development and adoption of the Law on Survey and Real Estate Registration, whose text was adopted by the FBiH Government, and future set up of the land administration authorities in FBiH and methods of their financing.
The representatives of the municipalities and other administrative bodies covered by this purchase highlighted their gratitude and support for future projects of this kind. The above-mentioned satellite receivers are intended for operation in the permanent stations network and they represent cutting-edge technology in this field. The accuracy that the instruments are achieving with the help of the network adjustments is below 2 cm. Also, one-year technical support has been ensured. The suppliers of the equipment, i.e., „Geokom“ Ltd. will be available under the signed contract to provide additional assistance and hold trainings on operation of the instruments referred to above.
