Annual Assembly of the Geodetic Society of Herzeg-Bosnia

The Geodetic Society of Herzeg-Bosna held its Annual General Assembly last weekend in Kupres, with over 70 participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Croatia, the Republic of Serbia, and North Macedonia. This year marks the 30^th anniversary of the Society's founding and the 140^th anniversary of the completion of the Austro-Hungarian geodetic survey of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and both events were marked during the Assembly.

A professional part of the program included relevant lectures in the fields of land administration and engineering geodesy. At the beginning, Mrs. Slobodanka Ključanin presented a lecture about the completion of the Austro-Hungarian geodetic survey in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and director, Mr. Željko Obradović, presented actualities and current activities regarding projects. A highlight of the working part was the roundtable discussion on the Draft Law on Survey and Property Cadastre of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, led by Mr. Sead Hadžić, Assistant Director.

The General Assembly provided an excellent opportunity for the exchange of professional opinions and discussions, as well as for collegial socializing.
