A MEETING IN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE WEST HERZEGOVINA CANTON

A joint meeting of representatives of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs, the Ministry of Justice of the West Herzegovina Canton Government, the land registry offices of the basic courts of Široki Brijeg and Ljubuški, and the cadastral offices of the municipalities of Ljubuški, Široki Brijeg, Grude and Posušje was held in the premises of the West Herzegovina Canton Government.

The meeting was attended by Director of the Federal Administration, Mr. Željko Obradović, with his associates, and the Minister of Justice of the West Herzegovina Canton, Mr. Vjekoslav Lasić, with his associates, as well as representatives of land registry and cadastral offices.

The topic of the meeting was the current status of the implementation of "Real Estate Registration" project, as well as considering the possibility of participating in future projects of the land administration sector implemented by the Federal Administration. After detailed analysis and discussion, the need to complete the process of establishing and replacing the land registry was emphasized in order to complete the harmonization process of cadastral and land registry data, and create conditions for continuing these activities in the upcoming project, which will also be financed by a World Bank.
