ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL COMMITMENT PLAN

geospatial Infrastructure and Valuation Enhancement Project (GIVE) is carried out in compliance with the World Bank Environmental and Social standards. The goal of this plan is to ensure minimal negative impact on environment and society, with maximum transparency and involvement of all interested parties.

Main components of the plan:

• Preparing and submission of regular quarterly reports on monitoring of environmental and social aspects to the World Bank
• Informing the World Bank of all significant incidents or accidents related to the project within 48 hours, with the detailed report
• establishing and running a grievance resolution mechanism (GRM) to ensure efficient and transparent problem solving
• Creation of checklists for the management of environmental and social aspects of each project before the start of construction work or procurement
• Providing education on environmental and social risk management for the project staff
